Local fire departments will be conducting training exercises on January 17th on the waters of Lake Diane.  Activities will start off along West Diane Drive near the Horn Drive crossover.  Activities will then expand into the waters of Lake Diane in various areas.  Please expect to see multiple rescue vehicles, fire trucks, watercraft and personnel in rescue gear both in and out of the water (or ice).

This is expected behavior and is for training and certification purposes for our local rescue teams.

The Lake Diane, July 4^th fireworks display has been an extraordinary tradition for over thirty years.

Unfortunately, as most are aware, this past year’s celebration was not without incident.

We have been given notice by the pyrotechnic company that they will no longer be able to provide a show at Lake Diane due to insurance requirements

It is with deep regret that we will not have a fireworks display in July 2026

We appreciate all who have supported our efforts to provide our lake community with over thirty years of celebrations.

The Directory is available for pickup this Saturday and Sunday from 11am – 1pm at the Southern Hillsdale County Community Center off West Territorial Road.
